Terms of Service

By creating an account or using the Flock app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use Flock. We may update these terms from time to time, and your continued use of Flock after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Flock is a location-based social events platform that helps you discover what's happening around you, find your friends at venues and events, share reviews, and coordinate plans with your crew. Our service includes event discovery, friend location sharing, venue reviews, AI-powered recommendations, and social coordination tools.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You may post reviews, check-ins, photos, and other content through Flock. You retain ownership of all content you create. By posting content, you grant Flock a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content within the platform and for promotional purposes.

You are solely responsible for the content you post and represent that you have the right to share it. Flock may remove content that violates these terms or our community guidelines.

You agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, or intimidate other users
• Post spam, misleading reviews, or fraudulent content
• Engage in any illegal activity through the platform
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or private data
• Use automated systems to scrape or collect data from Flock
• Interfere with or disrupt the platform's functionality

Flock uses GPS and other location technologies to power its core features. Location sharing is always opt-in - you choose when and with whom to share your location. Your precise location is only shared with friends you have explicitly approved, and you can revoke access or disable location sharing at any time through your privacy settings.

We may use anonymized and aggregated location data to improve our services, such as identifying popular venues and events. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle location data.

The Flock platform, including its design, logos, flamingo mascot, and all related branding, is the intellectual property of Flock. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on our platform or branding without prior written permission.

Flock integrates with third-party services including Google, Apple, Eventbrite, Spotify, Mapbox, and others. Your use of these integrations is subject to the respective third-party terms of service. Flock is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or policies of third-party services.

Flock+ subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) and auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage your subscription through your account settings.

Refunds may be issued at Flock's discretion within 14 days of purchase for annual plans, or within 48 hours for monthly plans. In-app purchases for event tickets are subject to the event organizer's refund policy.

You may delete your account at any time through your profile settings. Flock reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in abusive behavior, or pose a risk to other users or the platform. Upon termination, your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Flock is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Flock shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the platform. Flock's total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding any claim.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. For material changes, we will provide at least 30 days' notice via email or in-app notification before the changes take effect. Your continued use of Flock after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
